WHAT'S NEW WEDNESDAY!

Hey beauties!
Even though it's actually Thursday, here's is your What's New Wednesday.

Too Faced Cat Eyes Palette.

Let's start off with admiring how gorgeous the palette itself is.

Seriously ,  A CHEETAH PRINT PALETTE? I'm already sold. You could slap cheetah print on just about anything and you have my attention! What girl is gonna be like " A makeup palette that's also cheetah print? Nah, I'll pass.". No girl, I tell you!

Now, lets get to its insides.
How gorgeous are these colors? I have green eyes, so naturally I am attracted to the purples. I think this palette would be perfect for a night out or just a bold look in general. The colors are as follows:
Purr, Tiger's Eye, Leopard,, Meow, Pussy Cat, Jungle Love, Kitten, Kitty Glitter and Panther.
3 of which can be worn wet or dry (Panther , Jungle Love and Leopard)
How cute are those names?
According to the Too Faced website,
"
  • An extraordinary range of shades from a sheer wash of color to highly pigmented shadows
  • Nine new shades, three that can be worn wet-and-dry
  • Palette includes lustrous shadows that glide on gently for a weightless sparkle finish and velvety matte shades for eye-catching drama
  • Vivid, long-wearing color
  • Our signature, how-to Glamour Guide offers step-by-step application instructions for three Cat Eye looks. "
  • .

    Final Verdict:
WANT WANT WANT!! I cannot tell you how much I want this. Even thought $36 is a little pricy for a palette with just nine shades in it, I definitely think its worth it. The shadow look so vivid and pigmented! And seriously guys, its a cheetah print palette. Where can you go wrong ?

America has qualified for the World Cup every year since 1990, but has yet to bring a World Cup trophy back to America!

So I have been feeling a little patriotic ,so I thought I would do a USA inspired eye makeup!

    So on my eyes;
The Blue is Covergirl Eye Enhancers in Crystal Waters
The Red is Shiseido  Eye Shadow Duo in Brown Red
and the white is from the Lorac Pro Palette.

    WHAT'S NEW WEDNESDAY!

    Hi everyone!
I thought I would start a weekly post about what's new in the makeup world. Like new products, new trends..etc. Basically a fun little post about what I'm eyeing right now.

So let's start this off with a bang!
I'm sure you've heard all the hype about Benefit's They're Real mascara, a personal favorite of mine.
Now they have come out with They're Real Push Up Liner, which is , according to Benefit, the FIRST EVER lash-hugging gel liner in a pen.

                                                                                               imabeautygeek.com-

From benefit.com:This matte black gel formula won’t smudge, budge or dry out, and the innovative soft AccuFlex™ Tip hugs your lashline from corner to corner. The closer the line, the bigger the eye!

                                                                                               imabeautygeek.com-

So, with all that info from their website, let me tell you why I'm excited about this.I'm excited about this because it can be a bitch to apply eyeliner. Either one eye is perfect and the other on looks like a panda or you'll have cat eye on one eyelid and something not even close to cat eye on the other. So if I have something that looks like it's easy to apply then hell yeah im excited about this. The only thing that I don't get is why it's called " They're Real" when it's an eyeliner. I get why the mascara is called that but just not that eyeliner. What is supposed to be real? They eyelid?

Anyways, on Sephora.com it's priced at $29, which I find a little pricy for a eyeliner. And on Benefit's website it says its not even available until 6/27/2014 so i'm a little confused there lol.

But overall, I think this is going to be a really cool product and I cant wait to try it!

DUPE ALERT! Dupe for Essie Cute As A Button polish

Hi everyone ! I hope everyone is having a lovely Father's Day!
Everyone loves a good dupe , right? Especially for such nail polish! Essie has the best range of colors for their polishes and I have found a dupe for the " Cute As A Button" shade!

As you can see here, they are very very similar ! The Maybelline Color Show shade is called Coral Crush and is almost identical to the Essie. But of course, I prefer the Essie because in my experience the Maybelline Color Show chipped on the first day and the color didn't put out as well Essie. The Essie retails for around $8 and the Maybelline Color Show retails for around $3. For the price, go with Maybelline for quality go for Essie.

Hope this is helped & thanks for reading! If you have any good dupes , let me know in the comments!

    Ombe Lip How To

Hi everyone ! I always , ALWAYS have to have my lipstick on point! I feel naked if I don't have lipstick on and sometimes just plain lipstick doesn't cut it! So I've found a fun lipstick trick to give a new look to that boring lipstick.

Now this trick might not be for everyone because it's more for the darker lipsticks.

    What you'll need:
    Concealer
Lipstick ( I stick with the darker shades)
    Black Liner
    and
    A Lip Brush

    Step one:
    Apply Concealer to your lips.

    Step 2:
Line your lips with black liner. I used eyeliner.

    Step 3:
    Apply lipstick.

Step 4: Blend with lip brush

    ALL  Done!

    Enjoy!

    Pinterest Win !

I thought I would share this trick I found on Pinterest. The trick is to apply a little baby powder on your lashes & then apply you mascara. It's supposed to thicken them & in my case it worked! The three photos here are 1⃣ me without any mascara 2⃣ me with just Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara ( 2 coats ) and then 3⃣ me with the baby powder applied first & then Too Faced Better Than Sex ! I can totally tell a difference in the thickness of my lashes & you would figure it would be messy but it's actually not !

    My Nighttime Routine!

I thought I would share with you my normal nighttime routine. I suck when it comes to skin care because I'm so lazy lol but I'm trying to take better care of my face here lately.

First I use Mary Kay oil-free eye makeup remover. HANDS DOWN the best eye makeup remover out there! It literally takes off all my eye makeup in on swipe. If I'm right, this makeup remover is $15, which is a little pricy but totally worth it.

Next I use Canus Goat Milk soap to get the rest of my makeup off. I absolutely love this stuff. This soap is loaded with vitamins & minerals and is made with fresh goats milk. It's all natural and not tested on animals. It leaves your skin feeling soft as a baby's butt! You can find it at the Canus website.

And lastly I use Bellaboo EZ Blitz Serum to keep my skin clear. Honestly I never would have got this product if it wasn't on sale at ULTA but I'm so glad I did ! It's actually made in Australia and is made with organic sea-buckthorn berry & kakadu plum. All natural and not tested on animals. It really does help keep my skin clear. When I first put it on it feels yucky but after it dries it makes your skin feel so super soft. you can buy it here. but im not sure if they ship to the US or not!

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Review & Swatches.

Hello beauties! I hope everyone is having an awesome day!

Today I will be reviewing the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette. This palette was released around early December 2013 and everyone was talking about this palette. These shadows are infused with cocoa powder, which isn't the first time Too Faced had used cocoa powder in their products. The Chocolate Soleil bronzer is infused with cocoa powder too & it also smells pretty yummy too!
So let's get down to business.

This palette retails for $49.00 US dollars (well worth it). It has 16 shadows in all. 6 matte shadows & 10 shimmer shadows. The colors are mainly neutral rich browns, golds & purples.

So let's get to the shades.

    Here we have :
Top Row- Gilded Ganache & White Chocolate
Middle Row- Salted Carmel, Marzipan & Semi Sweet
Bottom Row- Hazelnut, Crème Brulee & Haute Chocolate.

    Next we have:
Top Row- Milk Chocolate, Black Forest Truffle & Triple Fudge
Middle Row- Strawberry Bon Bon, Candied Violet & Amaretto
Bottom Row- Cherry Cordial & Champagne Truffle.

    Now,lets get to some swatches.

    A coppery goldish shimmer shadow.

    a white/ tan-ish matte shadow.

    a light brown matte.

Dark brown with hints of purple shimmer shadow.

    Dark brown matte shadow.

    a light tan/brown matte shadow.

a beautiful light gold shimmer shadow.

    a medium brown matte shadow.

    a light pink matte shadow.

a bright light deep plum shimmer shadow

    a medium brown shimmer shadow.

a brown with hints of gold shimmer shadow

    a pretty bronze shimmer shadow

    a nice brown shimmer shadow.

    a deep plum shimmer shadow

    a champagne colored shimmer shadow.

Bottom Line: this palette is amazing. The shadows are very well pigmented but White Chocolate doesn't show up well on my skin. They have very little fall out & are very easy to blend. Plus you have so many beautiful shadow combinations. If I had to rate this palette on a scale of 1-10, it would definitely be a 10.

An added bonus? These shadows smell so amazing! You will literally be smelling chocolate the whole day when you wear these shadow. And here's a little fun fact: it even says on the box " Product not edible", lol!!

Hope you've got something from this review & thanks for reading!

    E.L.F Dramatic Eyelash Kit Review

    Hi everyone.

Today I'm going to be reviewing the E.L.F Dramatic Eyelash Kit.

This kit retails for about $1 and I happened to get it when E.L.F had they're 50% off site wide sale so I paid about $0.50. So I would say they are very affordable. To start off, one thing I hate was the lash glue. The "brush" either doesn't get enough of the adhesive or its gets too much.
The lashes themselves are easy to apply & in my opinion look gorgeous. Its all about the glue. This glue is horrible and makes your lashes stay on good for about 10 minutes.
Even though these are only $1, I think they could be better made. They are really thick and not that soft, which is what I love when it comes to false lashes.

Bottom Line: Of course I would buy these again since they're only $1 but I would definitely use different lash glue because the one that comes with it is just awful.

Today i'll be using my Urban Decay Naked palette, Benefit They're Real mascar & ULTA's lipstick in " In The Buff". That's it! So lets get started.

Here is a look at the Urban Decay Naked palette, just in case you've never seen it. The colors are amazing & the payoff is great. It retails for $52 but personally, I think it's worth it.

Out of the Naked palette, I used:  Hustle on the outer corner, Dark Horse in the middle of my lid, Smog in the inner corner of my lid & Half Baked on my crease.

    Hustle
    Dark Horse and Smog
