E.L.F Dramatic Eyelash Kit Review

Hi everyone.

Today I'm going to be reviewing the E.L.F Dramatic Eyelash Kit.

This kit retails for about $1 and I happened to get it when E.L.F had they're 50% off site wide sale so I paid about $0.50. So I would say they are very affordable. To start off, one thing I hate was the lash glue. The "brush" either doesn't get enough of the adhesive or its gets too much.

The lashes themselves are easy to apply & in my opinion look gorgeous. Its all about the glue. This glue is horrible and makes your lashes stay on good for about 10 minutes.

Even though these are only $1, I think they could be better made. They are really thick and not that soft, which is what I love when it comes to false lashes.

 

Bottom Line: Of course I would buy these again since they're only $1 but I would definitely use different lash glue because the one that comes with it is just awful.

Yes ! I want to be a makeup artist so bad! I just don't have the time for school & in my state you have to have a cosmetology license to do makeup work :(

I think makeup is more than something to make you look pretty. You can transform you face into something totally different & that's why makeup is so amazing to me. I don't believe in makeup "rules".

Getting Nude & Naked!

Hi Everyone! I hope all of yall are having/ have had a wonderful. Tonight my insomnia is kicking in so of course I decided to play with makeup! Today I went for a "natural" look. Today i'll be using my Urban Decay Naked palette, Benefit They're Real mascar & ULTA's lipstick in " In The Buff". That's it! So lets get started.

Here is a look at the Urban Decay Naked palette, just in case you've never seen it. The colors are amazing & the payoff is great. It retails for $52 but personally, I think it's worth it.

Out of the Naked palette, I used:  Hustle on the outer corner, Dark Horse in the middle of my lid, Smog in the inner corner of my lid & Half Baked on my crease.

I also used Benefit They're Real mascara, which is amazing. I love the brush and the formula.

On my lips, I used ULTA's lipstick in "In The Buff ".

Dia de los muertos~Day of the Dead look.

Hi yall! For some reason here lately I've been really intrigued with Day of the Dead and sugar skulls. I'm not sure why but they weirdly fascinate me. So I thought I would break out of my normal everyday makeup & create a "day of the dead" look.

                                                     

                                                    Here is what I used:

Urban Decay eye shadow in Psychedelic Sister
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Monte Carlo
L'Oreal H.I.P eye shadow in Valiant
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
NYX The Curve eyeliner.

I also used this greenish/teal eyes shadow color out of my E.L.F everyday palette.

I applied the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil all over my faced and smoothed it out. Then I drew the circles around my eyes and filled it with the UD Psychedelic Sister and L'Oreal Valiant. Next, I drew on the flower looking circles and filled them in with the E.L.F teal shadow. I filled in my lips with the NYX lip cream & drew the lines with the NYX Curve liner.

Face Five Challenge

Hi yall! I was recently tagged by Betti at Makeup' Asylum to do the Face Five Challenge.
The Face Five challenge is basically an idea that you use only five products from your makeup collection to create a look. The only rule is that you cant use any palettes of any kind, which is hard for me because I am definatly a palette lover.  So here we go....



                                                           1. NYX The Curve liner

This eyeliner is a gift from God, lol. It's a felt tip liner & it is so easy to use. I am horrible at applying eyeliner and this had made me look like a pro. It kinda goes with the shape of your hand so it makes it really easy to apply. This liner retails for about $14.99 and you can get it at ULTA, some CVS & etc. or at the NYX website.




                                                       2. Benefit The POREfessional

 

My holy grail of primers. I have huge huge pores and this makes them very less noticeable. It smells so good too! I have combination skin and this didn't make my face oily at all. It goes on really smooth too! This retails for $30 for 0.75 fl. oz. but a little goes a long way & you can buy a smaller size if you don't wanna pay that price.

 

 

 

 

 

3. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.

 

I cannot say enough good things about this mascara. It actually makes it look like you have false lashes on. This mascara rarely clumps and I just cannot express how much I love this mascara. The best mascara I have ever used for sure. I think this mascara retails for $23.

 

 

 

4.Rimmel Stay Matte foundation

This is a very light weight foundation but it covers very well. Too me, sometimes it can look a little cakey but im not picky about that.

 

 

 

 

5.Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

This is one of my favorite bronzers. It's made with cocoa powder so it really smells like chocolate. This bronzer goes on really smooth with a silky finish. I think that it could be overwhelming on some skin tones but I like the color.

In my look ,I used this as my bronzer and eyeshadow.

Using Too Faced Chocoate Bar.

My first Too Faced purchase was the Lashgasm mascara & I was very disappointed. Their packing is so so cute and hard to resist so my next Too Faced purchase was the Chocolate Bar palette. This palette is amazing! The shadows are infused with cocoa powder so they smell like chocolate & they are crazy beautiful and pigmented very well.

      Top Row; Gilded Ganache, White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Black Forest Truffle, Triple Fudge

I also used Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, which is the best mascara, ever! And the Too Faced Sweethearts blush in Something About Berry is on my cheeks !



A closer look at my eyes;

Here is what I used:
Cherry Cordial on my inner lid until the middle.
Then I used Black Forest Truffle on the rest of the lid and my crease.
Then I topped it off by using Strawberry Bon Bon on my brow bone.

I think this palette is to die for! I naturally gravitate toward darker shadows so of course I love this palette. But I think  it would be flattering on any skin tone or eye color.

Violet eye makeup!

Hi yall! I've been in a makeup rut here lately and today I just wanted to have fun with my makeup. not follow any rules or create a certain look, just free style. So here is what I created.

Here is what I used:
 Urban Decay eyeshadow in ACDC and Psychedelic Sister.

E.L.F long-lasting lustrous eyeshadow in Gala

Nyx The Curve Eye liner

and Kiss Lashes

First I put Too Faced Shadow Insurance over my lids and let it dry.
Next I applied UD ACDC on my inner lid until the middle of my lid.
On the rest of my lid I used ELF eyeshadow in Gala.
Then UD Psychedelic Sister was used on my crease.
Next I applied the Kiss lashes and finished it off with NYX The Curve liner.

Hey yall! I haven't did a "makeup of the day" post in awhile so I figured I would do one. I've been neglecting me UD Naked 3 palette so I thought I would bring it out. Here's what I used today:

First, one a clean face I started out with The POREfessional & applied Too Faced Shadow Insurance to my eyelids. While I let that dry, I filled in my eyebrows with the E.L.F eyebrow kit. Then I applied Benefit Fake Up under my eyes a smoothed out with my fingers. Then I applied my NYX Foundation with a foundation brush and then used a makeup sponge to get smooth out. Then applied Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer with a bronzing brush.

On my eyes:
After my Shadow Insurance, I used the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in  Milk as a base for my eyeshadow.

 I used the following from my UD Naked 3 palette: I used Factory on my inner lid and Darkside on the outer part of my lid. I used Trick on my crease. I used Smashbox Photo Op Eye Brightening mascara.

On my lips I have Clinique Chubby Stick in Curviest Carmel.

After all as said and done I spritized  E.L.F Makeup mist &set all over my face to set my makeup.
