WHAT'S NEW WEDNESDAY!

Hey beauties!
Even though it's actually Thursday, here's is your What's New Wednesday.

Too Faced Cat Eyes Palette.

Let's start off with admiring how gorgeous the palette itself is.

Seriously ,  A CHEETAH PRINT PALETTE? I'm already sold. You could slap cheetah print on just about anything and you have my attention! What girl is gonna be like " A makeup palette that's also cheetah print? Nah, I'll pass.". No girl, I tell you!

Now, lets get to its insides.
How gorgeous are these colors? I have green eyes, so naturally I am attracted to the purples. I think this palette would be perfect for a night out or just a bold look in general. The colors are as follows:
Purr, Tiger's Eye, Leopard,, Meow, Pussy Cat, Jungle Love, Kitten, Kitty Glitter and Panther.
3 of which can be worn wet or dry (Panther , Jungle Love and Leopard)
How cute are those names?
According to the Too Faced website,
"
  • An extraordinary range of shades from a sheer wash of color to highly pigmented shadows
  • Nine new shades, three that can be worn wet-and-dry
  • Palette includes lustrous shadows that glide on gently for a weightless sparkle finish and velvety matte shades for eye-catching drama
  • Vivid, long-wearing color
  • Our signature, how-to Glamour Guide offers step-by-step application instructions for three Cat Eye looks. "
  • .

    Final Verdict:
WANT WANT WANT!! I cannot tell you how much I want this. Even thought $36 is a little pricy for a palette with just nine shades in it, I definitely think its worth it. The shadow look so vivid and pigmented! And seriously guys, its a cheetah print palette. Where can you go wrong ?

    World Cup 2014 Eye Makeup!

    Hey everyone!

In case you're living under a rock or just don't keep up with sports, the World Cup is going on right now! The World Cup is where 32 countries from all over the world come together in one country to play soccer against each other. America has qualified for the World Cup every year since 1990, but has yet to bring a World Cup trophy back to America!

So I have been feeling a little patriotic ,so I thought I would do a USA inspired eye makeup!

    So on my eyes;
The Blue is Covergirl Eye Enhancers in Crystal Waters
The Red is Shiseido  Eye Shadow Duo in Brown Red
and the white is from the Lorac Pro Palette.

I hope yall enjoy the World Cup & GO USA!

    WHAT'S NEW WEDNESDAY!

    Hi everyone!
I thought I would start a weekly post about what's new in the makeup world. Like new products, new trends..etc. Basically a fun little post about what I'm eyeing right now.

So let's start this off with a bang!
I'm sure you've heard all the hype about Benefit's They're Real mascara, a personal favorite of mine.
Now they have come out with They're Real Push Up Liner, which is , according to Benefit, the FIRST EVER lash-hugging gel liner in a pen.

                                                                                               imabeautygeek.com-

From benefit.com:This matte black gel formula won’t smudge, budge or dry out, and the innovative soft AccuFlex™ Tip hugs your lashline from corner to corner. The closer the line, the bigger the eye!

                                                                                               imabeautygeek.com-

So, with all that info from their website, let me tell you why I'm excited about this.I'm excited about this because it can be a bitch to apply eyeliner. Either one eye is perfect and the other on looks like a panda or you'll have cat eye on one eyelid and something not even close to cat eye on the other. So if I have something that looks like it's easy to apply then hell yeah im excited about this. The only thing that I don't get is why it's called " They're Real" when it's an eyeliner. I get why the mascara is called that but just not that eyeliner. What is supposed to be real? They eyelid?

Anyways, on Sephora.com it's priced at $29, which I find a little pricy for a eyeliner. And on Benefit's website it says its not even available until 6/27/2014 so i'm a little confused there lol.

But overall, I think this is going to be a really cool product and I cant wait to try it!

DUPE ALERT! Dupe for Essie Cute As A Button polish

Hi everyone ! I hope everyone is having a lovely Father's Day!
Everyone loves a good dupe , right? Especially for such nail polish! Essie has the best range of colors for their polishes and I have found a dupe for the " Cute As A Button" shade!

As you can see here, they are very very similar ! The Maybelline Color Show shade is called Coral Crush and is almost identical to the Essie. But of course, I prefer the Essie because in my experience the Maybelline Color Show chipped on the first day and the color didn't put out as well Essie. The Essie retails for around $8 and the Maybelline Color Show retails for around $3. For the price, go with Maybelline for quality go for Essie.

Hope this is helped & thanks for reading! If you have any good dupes , let me know in the comments!

    Ombe Lip How To

Hi everyone ! I always , ALWAYS have to have my lipstick on point! I feel naked if I don't have lipstick on and sometimes just plain lipstick doesn't cut it! So I've found a fun lipstick trick to give a new look to that boring lipstick.

Now this trick might not be for everyone because it's more for the darker lipsticks.

    What you'll need:
    Concealer
Lipstick ( I stick with the darker shades)
    Black Liner
    and
    A Lip Brush

    Step one:
    Apply Concealer to your lips.

    Step 2:
Line your lips with black liner. I used eyeliner.

    Step 3:
    Apply lipstick.

Step 4: Blend with lip brush

    ALL  Done!

    Enjoy!
